Japanese Oyako-Don(親子丼)
I sometimes cook "Oyako-Don"."Oyako"means Pearents & Child.And this recipe includes Chicken and eggs.Yes! egg comes out of chicken!!That why . We call it "Oyako-Don"
RECIPE(Servings 2: Cook time 15 minutes)
Chicken 200g(cut into small pieces)
One Allium fistuloum (sliced very thin)
2Eggs
2cups Soup stock
2tablespoons Soy sauce
3tablespoons Japanese Mirin
(Substitute 3tablespoons sugar and 1tablespoon Japanese Sake for Mirin)
1/3teaspoon salt
2tablespoons vegetable oil
Combine chicken,Allium fistuloum,Soup stock,Soy sauce,Mirin,salt and vegetable in a pot,Bring to a boil,about 5 minutes.Cover that with mixed egg.Put it over cooked rice.
